The Liberta has a strap closing.
For cats this strap closing is perfect because it ensures a perfect fit around the cat.
Should your cat pull in an unexpected direction, the strap will make the harness tighter, so escaping would be very unlikely.

The chest size is the most important factor to choose the best size Liberta for your cat:

1 - up to 3 kg      -> 31cm – 34 cm
1,5 - up to 4 kg   -> 34cm – 38 cm
2 - up to 5 kg       -> 39cm – 42 cm
2,5 - up to 6 kg    -> 44cm – 48 cm
3 - up to 7 kg       ->      >48cm

Note: the chest size is the most determining factor for the size choice. Because most cats have a size smaller than the weight suggests. It is important that the harness can still contract sufficiently when the cat pulls on the leash, because cats can become very slim when they want to escape the harness.
When in doubt, do not hesitate to send us your cat's weight and chest circumference in cm. We will then assist you as best as possible in choosing the right size.
IMPORTANT: always measure the chest circumference while the cat is on 4 legs (not when lying down or sitting). Measure the chest circumference as it is, so not 'loosely' and not tightening, but as a tailor would measure you.
