We support the Cancer Fund for Animals
Our beloved pet is a full member of our family. The diagnosis of “cancer” in our four-legged friend therefore affects not only the animal but the whole family.
Together with the SDK (Samenwerkende Dierengeneeskundige Kankercentra), their goal is to improve the treatment of animals with cancer. Caring for your pet and especially the quality of life is of paramount importance.
As in humans, cancer is unfortunately increasingly common in companion animals. Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, horses and ponies reach a higher age through loving care and this is simply the greatest risk factor for the development of cancer.
About 30% of dogs and cats will develop cancer in the course of their life. That's almost 1 in 3. Cancer has become the leading cause of death for dogs ...
The NKFD only supports non-animal research.
More information can be found on their website. An overview of the cooperating veterinary cancer centers can be found here.
